City of Duarte urges residents to participate in hearing

The city is asking residents to attend the Azusa Planning Commission's second public hearing regarding the 1,000 page Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) on the Vulcan Material Company's request for a revised conditional use permit and reclamation plan, to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azusa City Council chambers, 213 E. Foothill Blvd.
The public can find and download Vulcan's complete submittal, all technical attachments and draft Environmental Impact Report on the official City of Azusa Web site www.ci.azusa.ca.us.
Comments can also be submitted in writing to azusarockeircomments@ci.azusa.ca.us, or by mail to: Conal McNamara, City of Azusa, Department of Economic & Community Development, 213 E. Foothill Blvd., Azusa, CA 91702.
